The RE-OneLink Application is used to monitor and control the CDR-1000 Receiver. The RE-OneLink Application allows the user to monitor audio level, signal strength, battery level, group, channel, frequency and other parameters of the RE1 Receiver. The application also enables the user to run ClearScan, Sound Check and other features on the RE1 Receiver from the RE1-OneLink Application.

The RE-OneLink Application Software is the property of Telex Communications, Incorporated. Chris Macgowan (macgowan.com) has permission to present, download and install the RE-OneLink Application for purposes of demonstration. RE-OneLink Application downloaded from this site is covered under the License Agreement for RE-OneLink Application Software found in the on-line help.

General System Requirements

Requirements
  • Requires Windows 2000 / Windows XP
  • CD-ROM drive for program installation.
  • Hard disk with 2MB free space.
  • One USB Port.
  • USB Hub to control multiple receivers.
  • CPU and RAM requirements as per the version of Windows installed.

The RE-OneLink Application user interface is comprised of a standard menu, toolbar and main window. The main window will be populated automatically with a small window to represent each CDR-1000 Receiver that is detected with a USB connection. The user can open a detailed window and the properties of the window by using the menu or the context menu.

Details Window

The user can open a detailed window represnting a specific CDR-1000 Receiver.

Clearscan Feature

The ClearScan Feature automates the process of finding a clear group of inter-modulation free channels and the clearest channels within those groups. The user can run the ClearScan Feature from the CDR-1000 Receiver. The RE-OneLink Application will allow the user to run the ClearScan Feature remotely.

The user selects the ClearScan Feature from the details window or context menu. The ClearScan results are displayed in a grid control for each receiver group. The user then selects the group and continues the process. The best channels are displayed in the grid control for the specified group (not shown). The user will select the desired channel and then select OK. The specific group and channel are set on the CDR-1000 Receiver.

Event Preference

The RE-OneLink Application allows the user to set warning events on the receiver battery level and signal strength.

The user will open the Event Preference to set the battery level event and signal strength event preferences. If the battery level and/or the signal strength fall below the specified level a warning event will be generated. The user will use the Event Properties to reset the event.

Event Properties

The RE-OneLink Application allows the user to set warning events on the receiver battery level and signal strength. If an event is generated the user will open the Event Properties for the specific receiver to clear the event.

The download is a self extracting executable that will deliver the InstallShield files. After the files have been extracted the install process can be started by opening the setup.exe file.
