President
We need to increase our market share in the soft drink industry ... any ideas ...
Marketing
A taste test with Pepsi-Cola.
Marketing
A new Coke formula.
Marketing
Robotic interactive dispensers, maybe Coke Jeans ...
President
No .. No .. No ... Think, think ... something original.
Marketing
Hey, how about going back to the old original Coke Bottle, we will market the shape and feel of the bottle. The GLASS bottles can be returned and reused just like the good old days, good for the environment and good for public relations.
Operations
It would cost a lot of money to re-tool our plants and begin to support the returnable bottles, again.
President
That's right Ronald ... But a great idea Nancy, to market the old bottle. We can make the bottle from plastic, good old petroleum based, smelly, air polluting, somebody will recycle it, PLASTIC. Gee ... what a great idea ...
Plastic is cheaper than aluminum and glass to use and we can continue to increase our market share and save money on the packaging. I can just see it now ... Coke Plasic Bottles Everywhere !!!
Eco Leader
Hi folks ... Chris Macgowan here ... your ECO Leader. Just got a call back from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Yes it is true, during the production of plastic, the resins and other petroleum based products cause toxic air pollution. The production of glass and aluminum cause sand dust and metal dust that are not harmful to human beings. Buy your beverage products that are packaged in Glass or Aluminum. Never (only if your life depends on it), Never, Never Buy Plastic.
